Integrated with latest high density heaters, higher torque level, more reasonable screw configuration, TDS-D compounders provide nearly 2-3 times output as the previous models.

With consideration of different processing materials, TDS-D series machines could be set with different rated speed, like 400rpm, 600rpm or even 800rpm.

 Probably most people have the traditional understanding of counter-rotating twin screw extruders. Low speed and low shear are the most points for such machines. Anyway, such typical machines, presently, are just successfully applied in PVC process and some other special processes.
                                                                                                                                                                                              Along with the deep and full understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of such counter rotating twin screw extruders, we developed the new screw profile to decrease the serious intermeshing forces and hence to make it possible run at higher speed. Consequently, we could find more and more positive features for such machines.

TDD series extruders are divided into the followed four sub-models according to different applications.

TDD-A standard extruders
Main features of TDD-A include smooth feeding barrels, typical screw profile. Mostly, some mixing sections are designed for the metering section to get better mixing and homogenization.  The standard L/D is designed to 30.  Presently, our maxium standard extruder is TDD250A to be appied in BOPP film extrusion line with output 5000kg/hr. 

 Thanks to complicated motions inside the extrusion systems, including the rotating mottion and reciprocating motion, TDW extruders show some unique features. The uniform shearing effect between the pins and filghts is generated in the gap between the screw filghts and barrel pins. Consequently, the materials experience the process of relaxing-shearing-relaxing circulation, that contributes to the best dispersion mixing and avoid the overheat of compounds. Meantime, the fight sections divide the flow with numerous times to get very good distributive mixing.
 
Modular design of screw elements and barrels could be convenient to adapt many different purposes. Even shorter L/D with 4 flights will greatly increase the mixing strength and also the pumping capacity.

 XPS insulation boards begin as a solid granule. The granules are fed into an extruder where they are melted and critical additives are mixed with the viscous fluid that is formed. Then, a blowing agent is injected to make the mixture foamable. Under carefully controlled heat and pressure conditions, the foamable mixture is forced through a die, at which time forming and shaping occurs. The rigid foam is then trimmed to the final product dimensions.

TDY counter rotating twin screw extruder is different from normal one. It features high speed, higher capacity, and more applications. TDY can extrude sheet, board, film directly without pre-dry.
